We're changing up the recipe.

Flavor POURN used to be a collaborative project where friends created and sold unique syrups, sauces, and sipping vinegars based on food science, experimentation, and fun.

Then we started having less fun.

Launching an online shop for Flavor POURN in 2025 proved challenging, requiring significant effort in production, marketing, and sales, impacting the creative process.

Then we started thinking: wouldn't it be fun to focus on the story of a flavor? Like, what if we took people on a flavor journey, where they were the hero on a quest for the holy grail of cocktails and cuisines. Literally.

We're starting fresh as a studio, creating cocktail and culinary experiences that invite you to explore fantastical worlds of flavor by letting you choose your own adventure.

We'll still be doing pop-ups and events, selling syrups, sauces, and shrubs in person. We'll even do some drop-off and deliveries to folks in the Pittsburgh area. We're also open to collaboration with organizations to bring their flavor to their audiences. Immersive storytelling experiences will be added to the mix so you won't just follow a recipe, you'll have fun with it.

A cocktail adventure set in magical fantasy/sci-fi worlds. Each book contains 20≤ drink recipes woven through branching storylines. Your choices determine your drink, and if you survive to last call.

FLAVOR POURN — SCENARIO 001 — MIDNIGHT AT THE LUCK'S END
[ CHAPTER 1 — ARRIVAL ]
The wooden sign above the old, rickety building swings back and forth in the cold night breeze in the dead of night. The door creaks as you slowly push it open. This place does not and should not exist on any map you're familiar with; a tavern lost to war and long forgotten to history. Yet here you are and here it stands, the place that shady character in the plague mask told you about: The Luck's End.

Aside from a few patrons that are already a few sheets to the wind, the tavern is empty. The bartender, a half-elf with a torn left ear, looks up at you with eyes as sharp as daggers and a stare that could cut a man in two. She slides a glass in front of you as you approach the bar. The liquid inside is blood red, with something that looks like a coin from a dead civilization floating on top of it. A breeze from out of nowhere carries the scent of spice, fruit, and a hint of something savory.

"What is this?" you ask.

She looks you up and down, taking full measure of you before she responds. "Depends on which version of tonight you want to live, my friend."
